Director Profile

On completing my school studies underCBSEpattern at jawahar higher secondary school at Neyveli, south arcot district, I persued my graduation in instrumentation engineering at siddaganga institute of Technology – Tumkur. While my younger brother finished his B.Tech at IIT Chennai and went to U.S to complete his masters and Phd.

My head start professional career was with Toshniwal Brotherspvt ltd.Basically Toshniwal brothers represented high valued testing and material handling equipment manufacturers from western and eastern countries,in India as an agent. I was involved with marketing capital equipment used to test engines and prime movers imported from M/S Carl Schenck – West Germany. During my one year brief stint as a marketing guy I had an opportunity togo to Carl Schenck for a product and an international marketing strategy training.Thisexposure program was were very effective and organized to every detail. This was where I got my first inspiration and I realised the importance of effective training. The training started to pay off, with a team effort we could materialise few high valued orders. The significant one was supply of four numbers of hydraulic Dynamometers to Combined Engines Plant at Avadi, an unit under Indian ministry of defence for a whooping value of close to a crore in 1986. The Dynos were to be used to test the engines of combat battle Tanks to be deployed at war front.

In the second year at Toshniwal, I had an opportunity to prove my technical skills by fixing a problem in a Brake Test Stand of M/S Carl Schenck at M/S Lohia scooters Kanpur, which was pending for over an year. This surprised my superiors and office collegues, My Branch manager considered my request and transferred me to service department which became my home for the next ten years. My hobby as electronics helped me to achieve this ambition to become anefficient service engineer. From this point my prospects looked up, I went to CARL SCHENCK AG , West Germanyseveral times and associated with them very closely in the subsequent years and my role and responsibility included advising pre installation requirements of engine test bed , site inspection to ensure the stringent specifications, discussion of test cycles and Co-ordination with clearing agents until  system reaches the customer’s site, to carry out installation, to commission, and maintenance of engine test bed from Dynamometer perspective . Intense activity starts once the Dynamometer arrives at the site,I carry out the Inspection of material, reporting the discrepancies to the principals if any, Initiate the installation procedures, commission and maintain it.

In the subsequent years as my experience grew more equipment of different manufacturers were entrusted to me, to name a few M/S INSTRON of U.K. for their range of material testing equipment, M/S BRABENDER for their polymer testing and food processing equipment. I spent time with these principals for on job experience.

At the turn of my twelfth year at Toshniwal I decided to quit and venture on my own. Under the supervision of  my cousin who was a doctorate in Aeronautical engineering I was involved with technical illustration work more specifically preparing spare parts catalogue. My visit to Japan for a study of project feasibility with AXIS company proved to be a phenomenal success. Together we did spare parts catalogue. With more than four years of experience we made illustrations for leading Japanese companies including  Nissan, Komatsu.

Subsequently I moved to a software company in Bangalore by name Deccanet Designs a telecom based software solutions company, involved with service and product. I spent the next four years here, worked as a lead trainer in customer support team.

I moved to Nagercoil to be with my father, a partially disabled engineer, due to illness which crippled him at his 50, when he was in a responsible position as deputy general manager at Neyveli Lignite Corporation.  At nagercoil I decided to share my technical training experience with students aspiring for good positions in industry.Hence this English Valley. Here in English Valley we train for IELTS and other English deliverables. I am trained by British Council Trainers under train the trainer Scheme. This has helped me to be more systematic and effective.
